OVERVIEW
The financial services sector is a large and diverse industry that can be segmented into three broadly defined areas:

  • Retail: Consumer-facing services, such as asset management, banking and insurance.
  • Wholesale: Corporate and market-facing services providing access to capital and risk management, such as capital markets, trading, exchanges, investment banking and wholesale insurance.
  • Processing and Services: Operational and business support services, such as transaction handling; information, payment and settlement processing; marketing services; and other outsourced business services.

Diamond Castle believes that attractive opportunities exist within each of these three areas.
