Diamond Castle maintains a flexible investment mandate in order to capitalize on the ever-changing conditions in the economy and financial markets, and to take advantage of attractive opportunities across a broad range of industries and transaction structures. We focus our efforts on four primary industry sectors: energy and power, financial services, media and communications, and healthcare. We also target other diversified industries in which our team has significant investment experience. Within these sectors, we target successful, proven businesses with attractive growth prospects and strong management teams.

We actively pursue not just control buyouts, but also numerous other investment structures including minority equity, growth capital and equity-like investments in both public and private companies. Our target equity investment size is $50 million to $200 million, but we will invest smaller amounts in businesses that will require follow-on capital, and we can also invest larger amounts. While our geographical focus is on North America, we will invest in businesses with substantial international operations.

Our team has extensive experience investing across a broad range of industries and geographies, in many different transaction structures, during multiple economic cycles. As a result, we can be creative, flexible and responsive in executing transactions.
